Our PhilosophyThe Difference starts from the moment you walk through our door…
HARTZ Physical Therapy prides itself on the excellent reputation it has built over the years. This reputation has come from thousands of satisfied patients leaving therapy at our offices and becoming advocates for the quality of care that they received there. HARTZ PT is proud to have been the #1 choice for physical rehabilitation in the Lancaster Newspapers Readers' Choice Awards for nine years in a row! At therapy, you will receive 1-on-1 interaction with a highly qualified team of physical therapists and assistants who will create an individualized rehabilitation plan specifically for you. Consistency of care (seeing the same team each visit) is a priority in our office and has been proven to provide for the best possible outcomes, verses seeing different therapists each visit. In addition, our state-of-the-art offices offer a wide variety of rehabilitation options, including aquatic therapy. We have several private patient rooms at each office and a large common area to provide plenty of space for privacy or sociability, whichever you prefer. We schedule patients carefully to ensure that each patient has plenty of time to not only complete their rehabilitation under appropriate supervision, but also to ask questions of their therapist. Our staff is highly qualified to treat your injury and we ensure we stay on top of the most recent developments by attending continuing education class and attaining advanced degrees and certifications. In fact, HARTZ PT is the ONLY clinic in Lancaster County to boast four physical therapists who have become Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialists (OCS). Physical Therapists who have this prestigious designation provide the highest possible level of care for individuals seeking treatment of orthopedic injuries. At HARTZ Physical Therapy, we also believe it is important to give back to the community. We routinely schedule lectures and workshops at local schools and businesses to educate the community about injury prevention techniques. In addition, HARTZ Physical Therapy supports many causes locally and has organized the HARTZ Physical Therapy Fall Blast for the past eight years. This event, a 3.1 mile run/walk in October of each year, has raised over $85,000 to support local charities, including Hospice of Lancaster County, Lancaster Science Factory, Aaron's Acres and Power Packs Project.
